Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Pattaya, Thailand

It was weekend and my wife and i decided to go to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. It was a bit away from the pattaya city and also away from the noise and bustling life of the city.

As name suggests it is a tropical garden, biggest in south east Asia and spread over  500 acre. Our entrance ticket also included an art and elephant show, we were instructed to see these show before exploring the garden.

 This tropical garden is not just garden but a full entertainment park for all age group.There is aquarium near the restaurant, elephant riding, elephant dance,open aviary, turtle house, you can even feed tiger cub, have picture with different birds and animals including tiger and many more attractions.

Art shows was mesmerizing with colourful display of dance and drama related to Thai culture.There were dozens of elephant just besides the stage and playing an important part in  many drama.

 After art shows we headed for Elephant shows. We saw elephants skills of playing Volleyball, Ball, cycling and even painting. I was very sad to see that performers were using spears to poke elephant to force them to act.

                    

First time in my life i was able to touch tiger  I persuade my wife to have picture with tiger.

You can also take the tiger cub in you lap and feed them bottle milk :) .

The aviary inside the garden is having many beautiful bird . 

you can  get very close to these birds.

One thing which make the garden cute is the statues of animal, birds and  bugs.Most of them are near the entrance gate.

Our next mission was to explore tropical garden. We took shuttle to take us around the garden. We stopover many place to see and capture the picture. I never saw such a big garden and it was well maintained. We explored palm of the word, Cactus house, Bonsai, lotus, tropical plants and nursery. We could see beautiful flowers everywhere.

After exploring the garden we returned to the restaurant areas and had Indian food before leaving to pattaya.
