I spent a week in Copenhagen including a day tour to Sweden. It is a beautiful bustling city with lots of  bicycle. I was amazed to see Beautiful girls (they are known as bicycle chic), mothers with kids, kids and  smart executives cycling in every corner of the city.

The Little Mermaid (Den lille havfrue)
The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade. It has become the iconic status of Copenhagen. Recently she has become the target of vandalism and political activist. She was draped  in scarf, burqa, painted many time and even bombed. when i visited,  police were fencing off the statue to protect it.

Christiansborg Palace

I purchased combined ticket, which included a guided tour to Christiansburg Palace, Royal stable and ruins of the foundation. Christiansburg is a royal palace and house of Danish parliament. Our guide told us family histories of many royals. We saw Royal Reception Rooms, the Prime Minister's Office, library, crockery room and many other impressive places. Camera was not allowed inside so could not capture the beauty.

Stroget is  Europe's longest pedestrian shopping street. it is walking distance from the central station.  It is very chaotic and crowded, more than 200,000 people shop everyday . It has everything to offer  from small souvenir  kiosk to Branded outlets. I bought some souvenirs and clothes for my wife.
